Ošetrenie bezzubých pacientov konceptom All-on-4

Klinický úspech a životnosť intraoseálnych zubných implantátov ako nosných pilierov do značnej miery kontroluje mechanické nastavenie, v ktorom fungujú. Plán liečby je zodpovedný za dizajn, počet a polohu implantátov. V biomechanicky kompromitovanom prostredí, ako je nekvalitná kosť, môže byť namáhanie alveolárnej kosti znížené zvýšením predozadného rozšírenia implantátov, umiestnením dlhších implantátov a maximalizáciou počtu implantátov. Koncept All-on-4 je jedným z takýchto liečebných postupov, ktorý je určený pre použitie u bezzubých pacientov. Zároveň eliminuje rutinnú alternatívu liečby konvenčnými zubnými protézami. Tento článok prináša prehľad konceptu All-on-4 a jeho protetických aspektov.

Treatment of edentulous patients with the All-on-4 concept

The clinical success and longevity of intraosseous dental implants as abutments are largely controlled by the mechanical setting in which they function. The treatment plan is responsible for the design, number and position of the implants. In a biomechanically compromised environment such as poor bone, alveolar bone stress can be reduced by increasing the anteroposterior spread of the implants, placing longer implants, and maximizing the number of implants. The All-on-4 concept is one such treatment that is intended for use in completely edentulous patients. At the same time, it eliminates the routine alternative of treatment with conventional dentures. This article provides an overview of the All-on-4 concept and its prosthetic aspects.
