Diastema mediale - estetické vnímanie tejto odchýlky verejnosťou

Diastema mediale je pre väčšinu ľudí hendikep, avšak v posledných rokoch sa stala vo svete šoubiznisu módnym trendom. Prostredníctvom prieskumu realizovaného formou anonymného dotazníka práca hodnotí vplyv diastémy rôznej šírky na mieru atraktivity úsmevu a či sa toto hodnotenie líši na upravených fotografiách detailného úsmevu a celej tváre.

Midline diastema - aesthetic perception of this deviation by the public

Midline diastema is a handicap for most people but in recent years it has become a fashion trend in show business. This paper evaluates the effect of diastemas of various widths on the degree of smile attractiveness perceived by the public and determines whether this evaluation differs in modified photographs of a detailed smile and the whole face. The survey was conducted in a form of an anonymous questionnaire.
