Dislokácia úlomku zuba v mäkkých tkanivách - kazuistika

Ošetrenie úrazov zubov u detí patrí medzi bežné výkony realizované v zubnej ambulancii. Horné rezáky, ktoré sú pri úraze postihnuté najčastejšie, môžu traumatizovať okolité mäkké tkanivá. Osobitnú pozornosť je potrebné venovať úrazom zubov spojených s tržnými ranami mäkkých tkanív. Fragmenty korunky môžu byť následkom úrazu dislokované v týchto tkanivách a v prípade, ak nedôjde k ich odstráneniu, komplikujú hojenie rany. Autori v práci prezentujú prípad 12-ročného chlapca s komplikovanou horizontálnou fraktúrou korunky zuba č. 21, dislokáciou odlomenej časti v tkanivách dolnej pery a jej opätovnú adaptáciu, čo vo väčšine prípadov predstavuje najlepšiu terapeutickú možnosť. Vyzdvihujú nevyhnutnosť dôkladného vyšetrenia mäkkých tkanív v prípadoch, ak úlomok zuba nie je po úraze nájdený.

Dislocation of tooth fragment in soft tissues - case report

Treatment of dental injuries in children is one of the frequent procedures performed in dental practice. The upper incisors, which are most often affected by injury, can traumatize the surrounding soft tissues. Particular attention should be paid to dental injuries associated with soft tissue lacerations. Crown fragments can be dislocated in these tissues as a result of injury. If not removed, they may impede wound healing. The authors present the case of a 12-year-old boy with a complicated horizontal fracture of the crown of the tooth No. 21, with dislocating of the tooth fragment into the tissues of the lower lip and reattachement, which represents, in most cases, the best therapeutic option. The autors emphasize the need for a thorough examination of soft tissues in cases where a tooth fragment is not found after the injury.
