Gingival fibromatosis

The authors provide an analysis of clinical images of hereditary gingival enlargement of the gingiva into dimensions of gingival fibromatosis in states conditions that are parts of syndromes and symmetric fibromas. The article focuses on the clinical images of gingival fibromatosis of inflammatory origin that occurs in young adults and adulthood. Attention is paid to the need of differential diagnosis and genetic investigations with the possibility of clarifying the incidence of gingival enlargement as part of various syndromes.
