The authors present an overview of disease states as consequences of physical activity that may occur in our practical activities. The most common consequence of a brachial act of physical violence, but also of falls, is a lip injury. In addition to the types of injuries that require surgical treatment, there is also contusion of the lips. It is manifested by a significant oedema, which begins to subside over time and desquamation of the superficial epithelium occurs. However, lip erosions are more common. They heal with a scab, which peels off gradually with epithelialization. Erosions leave no scars.
